  1. Preschool Story Time 10:00 am

    April 21, 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM @ Children's Story Circle

    About 40 minutes of stories, songs and rhymes followed by a simple craft to make and take home. Geared to 3 to 5 year olds but younger and older siblings often enjoy it too!

  2. Read to Jack & Scout, Therapy Dogs 3:30 pm

    April 21, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM @ Children's Department

    Jack & Scout are both Golden Retrievers and Registered Therapy Dogs. They love to hear stories! Share a book with them!

  3. Baby Story Time 10:00 am

    April 22, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Children's Story Circle

    Stories, rhymes and songs for babies 16 months and younger and their caregivers followed by baby play time with toys provided by the Friends of the Richland Library.

  4. Read to Rita, Therapy Dog 3:30 pm

    April 22, 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM @ Children's Department

    Rita is a registered Therapy Dog who loves kids and stories. Come in and share a favorite book with her. She's a good listener!

  1. Author Talk Juanita Vedder 7:00 PM

    Come hear Richland author, Juanita Vedder tell her story. Juanita is honored to say that her blindness has become a stepping stone to live a life of blessings and inspiration. Inspiration is the major purpose of her book. Her blindness has helped her face life's most difficult challenges with a positive and encouraging attitude. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

  2. LitFest 2015 Poet Tod Marshall 7:00 PM

    April 29, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

    Tod Marshall was born in Buffalo, New York. He grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He studied English and philosophy at Siena Heights University, earned an MFA from Eastern Washington University, and graduated with his PhD from The University of Kansas. He directs the writing concentration and coordinates the visiting writers series at Gonzaga University. He enjoys backpacking and fishing and spends about a month of every year in a tent. His work has been published in many journals, including The Southern Review, The American Poetry Review, The Iowa Review, Shenandoah, Boulevard, The Colorado Review, The Denver Quarterly, The Columbia Poetry Review, Poetry East, Poetry Northwest, Volt, Interim, The Canary, Willow Springs, Cutbank, The Georgia Review, The Kenyon Review, and elsewhere.
