Native Americans will be showing, illustrating and discussing their arts, crafts and culture. This event is being held in conjunction with Native American Heritage Month. There will be several hands-on activities including an opportunity to build your own dream catcher, do rock art and tee pee making and decoration. Other events include a tee pee display, beading, flint knapping, arrow making, tule mat and cordage making, regalia and dance, traditional foods, storytelling. This is an opportunity to talk to real American Indians. There is no charge for this family oriented event which is put on by the Columbia River Professional Chapter of the American Indian Science & Engineering Society with cooperation of the Richland Public Library staff.
